THINK 2010 Competition Overview
Catalyze Your CommunityThink of those people who you meet everyday - your local community. Do you find unmet needs that individuals in your local community face? Do you have novel ideas to solve these needs? For the THINK 2010 competition, please:
- Identify an unmet need in your local community.
- Describe your idea or project that meets this challenge in a novel fashion.
- Demonstrate the benefits of your idea to the local community through the results of actual implementation, or the potential benefits through a concrete proposal.
Applications should be submitted in one of the following categories:
- Homegrown Proposal The project is conducted in a home environment, with or without professional mentorship.
- Laboratory-Based Proposal The project is conducted in a professional setting, such as a school laboratory or an industrial lab.
- Idea Proposal The project has not been conducted yet, but describes comprehensive steps for implementation.
You are welcome to submit a project on any topic that addresses this year‟s prompt. This includes classical disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, math, computer science, earth science, engineering, medicine/health, and social science, as well as interdisciplinary subjects and any other subjects.
